Cycles Journal Undated How-To Part 4 of 4

While designing the new undated, fluid, + self-paced Cycles Journal, I knew a few essential spreads would be retained ~ the pages that hold space for collecting our cyclical observations to make more informed, aligned choices that honor our wholistic selves.

The Cycle Check-In Review spread is one of the core features that is here to stay ~ and it’s actually a reclamation of the 2025 design that was more spacious!.

How To: REVIEW, ANALYZE, & PLAN ~Monthly / as you go 💫

So you can notice patterns and share findings with trusted ones + practitioners.

A complement to the Moon Map + Calendar, the cycle-focused spread has space for collecting useful information at a glance for review and comparison with your cycles over time, plus room for personalized reflections, notes, and anything else that comes up for you.

  1. TOP LEFT • MOON CYCLE: Reflect & record on this page during your cycle, and/or at the end of each lunar cycle.

  2. LAST CYCLE DAY 1 + LENGTH: Record the day of the month you began bleeding, and circle the lunar phase it’s nearest on the illustration below for easy reference. If irregular or absent, your day 1 can be the new moon.

  3. DAYS TO NOTE: Use cycle day #s to note the difficult “Caution days” you felt overwhelmed, upset, and may want to block off or note for future cycles. “Bliss days” are days you felt at your best. Note any other standout days.

  4. OBSERVE PATTERNS & CHANGES: Discover and keep track of your patterns and their signs ~ anything that recurs each cycle or constantly. Note changes, new symptoms you want to keep an eye on, and questions to return to.

  5. CARE: Reflect on what was nourishing & helpful so you can remember what to return to and make space for as you need.

  6. PLAN + PREP FOR THE NEXT CYCLE: When possible, planning ahead can help! Count forward to predict your next cycle day 1, and other dates of note. You may want to mark them in this journal, and/or transfer into your calendars & planners.
