Cycles Journal Undated How-To Part 3 of 4

The new undated, fluid, + self-paced Cycles Journal holds refreshed evolutions of the designs from previous editions, but one that remains nearly the same is the moonthly tracking overviews.

Now, the spreads focus on the moon cycle as your time-keeper, with space for dates and cycle days that you get to input on your own.

(Remember, cycle day 1 can always just be the New Moon if you don’t bleed! That way, it’s your reference point.)

How To: RECORD & TRACK ~Daily

You get to keep tabs on your health in an easy, doable way, so that you can notice patterns over time.

While this journal allows space for daily tracking, it’s up to you how often you use it! We don’t see blank space as a problem here, but a resting point… just like the dark moon.

0. PREP THE DATES: Reference your lunar phase bookmark key, and fill in the dates below the new, first quarter, full, and last quarter moons ahead of time.

1. TOP • CYCLE DAY #: Each day, find the phase or date, and mark your own cycle day # beneath. If you bleed, day 1 is your first full bleed day. If you don’t bleed, day 1 can be the new moon.

2. TRACKING BUBBLES: Follow the column down to check each experience on the left, and fill in the associated bubble(s) based on the intensity or trait of each (see key). Use #s or letters where applicable, i.e.: C for clear cervical mucus, W for white/opaque, etc. Add any traits that aren’t listed.

3. BBT CHARTING: If you track your fertility, match your temperature to its number on the right. Then follow that row over to the day’s column, circle it, then connect the dots. Please refer to your practitioner’s resources for accurate tracking.

4. NOTES + KEY: Expand on anything else in the notes column to the right. If you need more space, that’s what the journaling pages are for. An example key also lives on the pages, or you can create your own.
